Fathers Day is celebrated on every third Sunday of June, to honour fatherhood as well as the influence that fathers have in the society.
Research shows that when a child has a healthy relationship with a father figure they tend to grow up to higher levels of psychological health as well as nurture better quality relationships, however there are those who did not get a chance to grow around their fathers or a father figure, so how did that impact their lives?
