Petra: A faith journey to Jordan

Legend has it that Petra, the rose-red city, found in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, remained hidden from the Western world for centuries. Rediscovered by Swiss explorer Johann Ludwig Burckhardt in 1812, this ancient marvel was forgotten after the 14th century. Petra was crowned as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in 2007.
