List: Nixon Korir, Belio Kipsang and Jonathan Mueke among 51 PSs nominated by Ruto

A list of 51 candidates for the position of Principal Secretary has been made public by President Ruto, who has also forwarded the list to the National Assembly for consideration and approval.

“The Presidential Action is pursuant to Article 155 (3)(a) of the Constitution. By dint of the Executive Action, the nominations have been transmitted to the National Assembly for the consideration and approval by Parliament in accordance with the Public Appointments (Parliamentary Approval) Act (No. 33 of 2011),” read a press release by Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service Felix Koskei.

Former National Assembly member Nixon Korir and former Deputy Governor of Nairobi County Jonathan Mueke are among the well-known individuals on the list.

Notably, Charles Hinga and Belio Kipsang have kept their positions.
