Johnnie Walker’s #SheWalks Partners with InnovateHER Brunch to Empower Women Leaders

This year, Johnnie Walker, through its #SheWalks platform, partnered with Business Daily’s first-ever InnovateHER brunch a unique event dedicated to celebrating and empowering women entrepreneurs and innovators. The occasion brought together over 200 trailblazing women from various industries to share their stories, exchange ideas, and inspire the next generation of female leaders.

Through engaging discussions, keynote speeches, and networking opportunities, the InnovateHER Brunch aims to foster a supportive community where women can thrive, break barriers, and redefine success on their own terms.

Diageo’s Africa Digital Hub Lead, Waithera Kabiru who was one of the chief guests, explored the concept of Quantum Leadership and its importance for women in top management roles. Waithera described Quantum Leadership as embracing uncertainty, possibilities, and divergence, moving beyond the confines of traditional linear leadership.

Elaborating a quantum leader, Waithera said;

“It is ditching perfection for possibility, practising emotional agility, cultivating a beginner’s mindset, and future-proofing your workplace. She explained that this four-point approach is the key to embracing the unknown, adapting quickly to change, fostering continuous learning, and creating environments that thrive in an evolving landscape.”

The InnovateHER brunch will take place once or twice annually and is designed to celebrate and empower women entrepreneurs, leaders, and innovators.
